That depends on the Mini's motherboard. If there's no Mini-PCI slot for the HD Display card, then it just got harder, because that'll mean you'll have to solder one into the motherboard. I don't think it's as simple as simply adding a higher resolution LCD screen. Mine came with HD graphics card inside (and other things I didn't expect to see, but you know all that already, LOL!), so no problems.

You should at least read the first page of the thread before making assumptions.

Go to the Dell website, click on support then warranty status and put in your service tag. Click on the "Original System Configuration" tab and look for the LCD screen in the list, then call Dell parts or Google. Mine happens to be:

26YW2 Liquid Crystal Display, 10.1WSVGA, Top Latch, V2, Industry Standard Panel/Display, Samsung

Thanks kuoh. Will do! NYWTY is my part #. Sigh, just wondering if I should just send it back to Dell and have them fix it for me and bite it....It will probably cost as much as I paid for it....

NYWTY Module, Liquid Crystal Display, 10.1WSVGA, Top Latch, V3, Industry Standard Panel/Display, Centimeter

I'm afraid I'm missing your point. I sense some annoyance; did I say something that someone could have taken offense to???

So after rereading the entire thread it seems that you don't HAVE to have the broadcom card to make this mod work correct? I hope hubby can make this happen for me because my screen is destroyed...Thanks in advance for the help! ALso the Dell site here has NO Photos anymore, does anyone have a link to a how to guide with pics or a video? I am just paranoid it's going to get messed up worse then it already is...
