Dell mini 9 vostro a90 white screen when power button pressed -

When i press the power button, i get a white screen, and then it turns off by itself. it keeps doing that forever and it's getting me mad! i am using BIOS a04 if you need to know and OS windows XP
I know it's in another page, but i need help! |

Can you get to BIOS by pressing (& hold) F2 right after power?

Maybe, if the battery & power supply are OK. Do you really want to spend $$ on it when new laptops are so cheap with a lot more performance than the Atom CPU/Intel video chip. My battery failed & I probably will not replace it at $30.
This is a link for a refurbished MB at $80 Dell Parts, Refurbished Laptops & Used Computers - Discount Electronics This is more than I would spend. Makes me wonder how much my Mini 9 is worth w/o a battery & I know it works plugged in. |
