He truly does some very nice work.

I just got my sleeve and I'm mighty impressed. I asked for something a little "different". The idea was a regular sleeve, but with the front pocket on the closure flap for the Mini9 pocket.

I thought that throwing the pocket on the flap would make it easy to be TSA compliant (just drop the sleeve in the tray/on the conveyor belt and "open" the main pocket). It would also mean that even if you overstuff the pocket, the mini9 pocket still closes flat and makes the bag look "thinner" to my eye.

Oooh ... what a pretty bag. Nice match to the Cherry Red.

Lets see what we can cram in it.

Hmmm Laptop fits nice

Okay, now to put the AC adapter and a Seagate FreeAgent Go drive. (for all your portable storage needs )

Looks good with everything else in it too.

Hey, I'm really glad you liked it! Future revisions of this pocket will have a slightly longer front flap so that the pocket fits completely inside the border of the trim.

Let me ask you about that red color. It looks as red as red can be to me in person. When I tried taking photos of it my camera went wonky with the color and turned it purple because the red was too red for the camera to process. I notice in your photos that it looks slightly orange in comparison to the Mini 9 lid you have.

What's your opinion of the red color of the cordura? Is it slightly orange?

For my day job I'm an audio visual technician. I already have tinnitus from a couple of IED's in Iraq, please don't tell me my color processing is wonky too... How much of an AV tech can I be if I can't see or hear?

Ugh.. Tinnitus sucks.. Although, mine was self-induced, albeit somewhat unintentionally.

Dude, that sleeve you made for DaoFerret looks bad ass!

If you look at the first two pictures, the mini and the bag are close in match (although the mini has a bit more black and the bag is brighter ... if that makes any sense).

In the third picture, you can see that the bag is actually reflecting light from the camera's flash changing the color of the bag (much more noticeable in the last picture). The material seems quite reflective, and because its "soft" at least part of it is usually angled to reflect back to the camera. The best pictures would probably be taken with lots of indirect lighting and no flash (or a diffuser, but that's beyond my experience).

Then again, maybe my eyes are off also there are mornings I need my glasses to find my glasses.
I'll check once I get outside into the light.

That's very cool. Looks like a prop off the set of the new Terminator movie.
