I just ordered this bag from ebags.com, the XS Drift by STM. I LOVE IT!!!!!

The Mini fits perfectly, couple pockets in the main compartment for a power cord and camera maybe, another larger pocket, the flip-over flap has two zippered compartments one of which I have my slim-line optical drive stashed in, and the other pocket has a headphones pass-through port for an iPod or some such. Another zippered pocket on the front of the bag, and a slip pocket on the back that you might put a boarding pass or something you need quick access to.

Water repellent and quite tough and sturdy.

Nice long padded carry strap makes it look quite good as a messenger bag, also a rubber handle, and don't worry guys, it definitely looks great as a man-bag!

i have alot of stuff i carry, 120g usb drive, bootable cd's, headphones, camera, mini9 ,car lighter inverter ,power adapters, notebook, etc. any suggestions? i like organization and durability.

I have the DayPack and as soon as mine gets here, supposedly tomorrow, I'll take photos for ya. Just be aware that the bottom of the Mountainsmith bag is NOT padded. I use mine as a camera bag with inserts and I have a layer of 1/2 inch foam on the bottom.

I wanted something smaller than a full size messenger bag. While I love Timbuk2 bags, I hate velcro. I love my STM bag for my macbook, but it also has about 5 strips of velcro you have to rip apart before getting to the laptop. This bag, while minus frills like a laptop sleeve, is a good size, easy to access with a zipper, and has 2 good size side pockets on the outside. Not to mention the leather is really top notch. I stick the Mini in a Belkin sleeve from Target ($10) and then can just throw it in this bag.

If you're on their email lists, Gap/BR/Old Navy is having 30% off everything until Sunday 11/16. Really helps with getting the price down!

I haven't put any padding in yet, but I plan to. It's already a snug fit, but there is just enough room to make for a very tight and padded setup. The "cell-phone" pouch is just the right size for my kensington bluetooth mouse, and the front pouch is perfect for the power supply plus a belkin 3-prong surge protector. There are other pockets for memory cards and such.

What do you do that you need to bring all of that with you all the time. That is just silly... Leave the inverter in the car. Leave the drive where you use it. If you are pulling it all out at every stop you use it, you should invest in a different system, as you have totally defeated the point of this system.

How about posting what works for you instead of downing others for doing so?

I pointed out something I find to be completely logical. What is the point in buying a 3 lb laptop if you have to carry 10 lbs in accessories with it. I think it is silly. That isn't "downing" anyone. Why buy something that should be very portable only to make it a burden to set up each time. Having an external drive at home/office, or using an online storage service is one thing, but I THINK that if you wanted to carry that much stuff you could have spent 100 bucks more, got a system with an 120gb drive and been done with it.

It is proven over and over again that the more times you connect and disconnect cords(usb, for example) the quicker you will wear out the cords and the plug. The same goes for the inverter. The metal spring contacts aren't designed for constant removal. I was merely SUGGESTING what I thought to be more logical. As he is entitled to do something that I think is silly, I am entitled to say it is silly.

I didn't attack the poster or chastise them. I stated that I felt it to be silly to buy a tiny system only to bulk it up with all that extra gunk when I FELT that there was some of it that just didn't need to be transported.
