Hi DM,
Just googled 'ballistic nylon' and yes, this appears to be the case. like a typical nylon strap on a backpack, yes?. And yes, I did replace the crosses on the zippers with peace signs. I'm not a religious man but do strive for peace. It works very well. Thanks again! Today, I ironed on a black and white Apple patch to the backside of the case.
