I am expecting a pink mini 1012 and I just can't not live with the fact that it will be pink so need some changes.

What do you recommend, decals/skins or lid change?

Just to warn you, the lid is backbone of the top of the machine so if you replace it, it is an entire disassemble and reassemble. Not for the faint of heart.

Sell it and get another colour...

I can't do that, been waiting for a one with these specs long time, so no can do.

I will proper just stick a skin on the cover but I can't seem to find any uk website that sell them for the mini 1012.

You should google "mini 1012 skins" theres plenty of them which can cover most of the pink on the computer.. And i suggest you don't buy the ones at 0.99 US$ on ebay, they look extremely crappy!

Have a look there, who knows, you may find something that you like!

I've replaced screen lids about 4 times, broke the screen bezel on twice, so would you rather have a pink mini or a cracked mini?

I think you are a bit haha a pink mini isn't that bad! Theres plenty of skins and protectors on the internet that would be able to hide most of the pink.

Why did you even purchase a pink one if you didn't want it. What hardware do you have in it. I have 2 black 1012's. Possibly swap one for one.
