Excellent idea...but maybe needs a pouch to carry AC adapter and/or peripherals?

I have a 10" portable DVD case. It has two compartments and either my 9 or the 10v fits just fine in the larger compartment with all of other stuff in the other (power, mouse, etc.). It was Phillips branded.

I just received the leather Embassy bible cover and I must say...
for SIX BUCKS and FREE SHIPPING, it's FANTASTIC!

Holds the computer, AC adapter and a few other small items perfectly.
A++

Thanks dirtymoney!

Embassy Genuine Leather Cross Zipper Pocket Bible Cover - eBay (item 220566927326 end time Apr-04-10 12:07:13 PDT)

Hey, about that. I have some questions... Is the zipper teeth the plasic kind with tiny teeth or is it sharp metal teeth? I was worried about the zipper teeth scratching my mini. Also.. does the pocket close via velcro? What is the lining of the interior (pocket and main compartment) made of? How well does the ac power cord fit in that pocket? Does the mini slide around in the main compartment a lot or is it a tight fit?

I am using this ( http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/external-accessories-peripherals/18935-my-converted-zippered-binder-dayplanner-case-my-mini9.html ) right now when I have to carry/use my mini9 in public, but wouldnt mind having something I could carry a few accessories in like that bible case. I really like how tightly it fits in the case, but would like it more if there was an outside pocket. I stopped by a local office supply store just to look at some zippered dayplanners and say one or two with outside pockets, but they were all too expensive for me.

Hi DM,

I actually ordered from the link you posted. The link I posted looks like a slightly different case.

This one has black, plastic zipper teeth. I'm not worried about scratching the Mini9. It is almost an inch longer than the Mini9 though. The width fits nicely. However, if you're set on a "tight" fitting case, you may not be 100% happy. But I wouldn't say is slides around much when the case is zipped up. Very functional.

The velcro pocket holds the AC adapter well with room to spare for another cable or small accessory. There are two folder pockets inside and a pen holder loop. The lining is all thin nylon but pretty well sewn and constructed.

I'm very appreciative to have been led to it.
$6.00? No brianer.

Here are some pics...

cool beans! Thanks for the pics and answering my questions. I think I will get one too (even though I hate velcro )

edit: hey, did you replace the cross zipper pull with a peace sign? Looks like a peace sign in that second to last pic. Also... is that ballistic nylon fabric under the handle?
