Sure enough - the reported screen size on my 10V is 222 x 125 mm.

I had used a graphic program to blow up each pixel so that is was a large block on the screen but that is probably not valid.

I wonder why the manufacturer of the screen didn't stick with square pixels and either use a slightly different aspect ratio - there is nothing magic which says it has to be 16:9; or, if he wants the physical dimensions to meed the 16:9 aspect ration, just have a slght border right and left with no pixels

Anyway, a moot point - I can't even notice the squashed screen even when I'm looking for it - not that I would particularly care on a netbook.
