Default Chromium OS April 10th 2013 Install issues - 05-07-2019, 11:36 AM

Hello all,

New member here! Pleased to meet you!

I found my old Mini 9 in the attic and decided to give it a new lease of life installing Chromium into it but have run into a bit of trouble and would like some expert help.

I installed the OS no problem, along with the WiFi card driver but everytime I switch the machine on it doesn't let me log into my Google account, it just gives me the dinosaur page and says cannot connect even though I'm connected, so I'm forced to carry on as a guest.

As a guest I can't download any apps or log in either even though I can connect and browse the web as normal.

So, my question. Is there anyway to be able to log in so I can keep using Chromium or shall I revert back to XP, or Win 10 like some users here have managed?

Machines specs are standard everything except for a 2GB RAM upgrade.

I have zero experience with Chromium. but I suggest you ask first in a forum with Chromium users (on any hardware) as they may recognize the symptom and tell you what to try.

Win10 works fine on the Mini 9, as do various flavors of Linux.
