![]() So looks like dells ready to push the duo out. Engadget(sourced from Cnet) is reporting that the duo could potentially be on the market as soon as November 23 and pre-orders opening up even earlier then that. Who's going to get them-self one for Christmas? I know ill be getting my hands on one!
Original Engadget post: "Alright, we know AMD's busy showing off its Atom killer, but there's still a little life left in Intel's netbook stalwart, which has been harnessed to its fullest in Dell's screen-flipping Duo tablet / netbook. And the good news is that we apparently won't have to wait too long to see that zany concoction out in the real world. Well placed sources have informed CNET that Dell intends to release the Inspiron Duo at some point next week, potentially on November 23rd, while pre-sale information should be dished out later this week, alongside Microsoft's announcement of a new store opening. Things are moving along nice and swiftly, it would seem." Dell Inspiron Duo tablet could be with us next week -- Engadget |

![]() try this:
Currency Calculator ya know after doing some more reading on the duo, I am not sure now, 1st its only got 2 USB's and no mic jack (like the 1018),2nd. it is maxed out with 2GB RAM (probably due to the Atom processor),3rd... battery life is estimated to be roughly only 4hrs give or take....4th..the battery is NOT removable...granted it does come with the HD 1366x768 screen and HD accelerator....but it is still unknown (at least to me) about the wi-fi card, which one is it?..I assume its b/g/n..but havent seen anything on that, also what about BT or TV Tuner and the hard drives available are ok, not great, but I got my 750gb already so I dont care about that, unless they come out with the TV Tuner, BT and all I dont think I am in such a hurry as I was......I would have to sell mine to get this and I am not sure I am ready to do that.....but admittingly it is a pretty cool little toy... iPad 4 (64gb) w/Retina,Targus Versavu Case |

![]() PC Pro says "£449 including VAT and delivery".
You can't just apply a currency calculator - pricing is rarely that simple in the consumer electronics world. |
