Default New Duo Teaser? - 11-04-2010, 05:54 PM

Hi, just saw this link to a teaser for the new Duo and thought I'd pass it along.

Dell teases the new Inspiron Duo tablet-netbook | TheGadgetClub.net - Your Gadget News Guide

It looks NICE. I know a few people are looking at it wondering how it would play with Linux, but I'm hoping its as hackable for OSX as the Mini9 was.

10", Touch Screen, Netbook/Tablet ... The only thing I think its missing is a webcam when in Tablet mode, and OSX and I'd know what I want for the Holidays.

Dell Mini 9 - Cherry Red. 2GB RAM, 64GB RunCore, BlueTooth, 10.6.7 (working on getting 10.6.8 'working' )

I hope this means they're getting close to announcing pricing and a release date. I'd probably order one as a Christmas present to myself if the price is reasonable.

Mini 10v (1011): Passion Purple, N270, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, XP Home
Inspiron 11z (1110): Passion Purple, SU4100, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, Win7
Alienware M11x R1: Cosmic Black, SU7300, 4 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, Win7
Latitude 2110: Blue Ribbon, N470, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, Touchscreen, Win7

Mh, but the screensize is not appropriate for a good mobile working, there is already TFT Technology existing and the holding framge need not to be so thick - thats a minus for this machine.. :-(
