[Streaker5]

I'm running 2.2 on a non-rooted streak 5.

This might sound strange, but when I'm connected to Wifi on the streak, the other netbooks
and notebooks, get very poor bandwidth[like 300K down] on a 24Mbps connection, and the streak will get speeds upwards of the whole 24Mbps, while I use the network limiting settings on windows 7 & the other OSes to keep them at 12Mbps, when I have 3 or more connected at the same time on WiFi, to keep everyone moving.

I don't see any settings, to limit the streak.

What can I do, to keep the steak from taking up all the bandwidth?

My Router is a DIR-655

I've received exactly the same problem, all my friends have noted the same too. If I go into their house and connect to their internet I get complaints I am hogging it all
Only way I stop it is by turning off the WiFi

Streak is a horrible hog for this. When my HSDPA allowance reset, I, supposedly, burned through 386MB of it, in a single day, without using it. O_O
Ultimately, depends on the apps you have, I trimmed everything out of mine, and it's back to tolerable levels.. but effectively, it's now just a phone with a nifty browser.. :/
