Default stupid newb question - SSD / 10v - 03-24-2010, 10:57 PM

can I toss a 32GB SSD hard drive in my 10v? Looking to decrease boot time, speed up some performance. Already upgraded to 2GB Ram.

Yes, you can, but that limits you to 32GB total. If you can live with that, fine. I'll comment that the "value" 32GB SSDs aren't all that great. The Intel 40GB is much better than the Kingston 32GB.

I don't see an issue with space. My only concern would be duplicating the drive and (of course) ripping the computer apart to put the new drive in. Not sure if it would be worth it for me.
