Question Boot from 64Gb USB stick XP SP3 D9 port5? - 05-29-2013, 04:56 PM

Only £25 for a 64Gb USB stick now & mindful of the SSD HDD limitations (in use reduces its useable space) is 64 too large
Goad is to have everything on the stick & just use the D9 Bios & leave the ssd hdd as an emergency dual boot drive standard D9 1Gb RAM arid original & 1 Gb replaced SSD drive (cost £40 )

How big is your SSD & how much free space do you have? A 64 GB USB stick seems large to me. On this side of the pond a 32 GB USB stick is a much better price. Have you considered using a SDHC as well. It also is at a much better price break at 32 GB vs. 64 GB. It is just an idea as you might not want to be looking 2 places for your files.

Hi Is
many thanks for reply - I really want to future proof my D9 = keep away from use of its 16 Gb SSD drive - only 1.8 gb free space
32 gb usb is about £20 from novatech I was suprised MS office 2k3 used about the same space as MS works
my first SSD 16 gb drive lasted just over 2 years...
