Default What OS on your mini? - 06-04-2009, 12:22 AM

Just a quick poll to see what everyone's running ... I'm still trying to decide what to put on my 10v when it arrives...

Shouldn't you list Windows 7 as a choice of its own? The Mini 10v was made for Windows 7. It runs so smooooooooooooth.

Windows 7 on my 10v. Runs extremely well, as Tom points out.

(Tried it on the Mini10, as well. But, it was a sick dog on that one.)

Interesting that over 70% of respondents are running something other than what Dell ships these out with.

well they can load osx on them and sell them and windows 7 isn't even out yet... so that would be why.

Assuming that those who chose "other" are running Win7, it doesn't really matter that Win7 isn't officially out yet.

As soon as I got mine I zapped Windows XP from it and installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my 10v. Runs freaking awesome even with the stock 1GB of ram.

I was so surprised the function buttons (especially the battery one) and suspend worked. I am so happy with this thing.
