Couldn't we just drill a small hole on the back panel allowing access to the button with a pen or paper clip?

I am so excited to get my mini in three weeks I can't wait. I am glad someone else has tried this, because I was sitting here playing xbox and thinking that I would give this a try - glad to see it paid of. Does this eat up all of the space inside? Can the receiver board be stripped down any further? Could this be pulled off with the GPS mod too??

Can't wait! Ill probably break it as soon as I get it.

Just wanted to drop a line here.
I know this is an older thread at this point but I'm getting ready to install this receiver myself in my own Mini 9 and I appreciate you sharing your photos and findings.

Great stuff!

Hooray, now you can game on the mini 9 with a wireless controller? hehehe

Joking of course. Really cool mod. Someone should sync a guitar hero guitar or drums etc. or even the racing wheel. I'd like to see that.

Quick last note for me here:
Just finished my install with few if any problems.

This works great!

Necro-bump.

I've decided to do this mod as well but I've hit a snag.

I've stripped down my mini 9 and wireless adapter and I'm ready to go. The problem I have is how exactly to go about connecting the wires. What colours go to which pins, where? I looked at the GPS mod but the wire colours didn't match. I don't want to kill my machine so any help for this noob would be appreciated.
