Has anyone had a chance to use or look at the HP Stream 11? I love my 1018. I use it mostly as a travel laptop and backup when my VAIO experienced the blue screen of death. However, I made an impulse purchase of the HP Stream 11 because it was only $199 as a replacement to the 1018. It hasn't arrived yet, and now I'm having second thoughts.

Can anyone comment as to how the two computers stack up against one another?

I think you'll be far happier with the Stream 11. The processor is much faster. The reviews I have seen of the Stream 11 have been very positive, considering the price.

Got the Stream 11. Yes indeed it is much faster! I'll give my 1018 to my young niece as soon as I figure out why my keyboard has stopped working. I had to open the 1018 up to install a new SSD 120G drive (which has dramatically increased speed but still not as fast as Stream 11). I didn't disconnect the keyboard connector during the drive installation but I might have inadvertently knocked something loose.
