I've been meaning to ask you how you like it compared to the "original" version of the sleeve. I really like how that Wine color turned out too - much better looking on the final product than in a raw cut.

Agreed. The wine color is really nice too - my brother is very happy with it!

I like how the edges of the flap are rounded now instead of pointy - it gives the sleeve a more polished look. I really like the look of the contrasting-color trim too. However, my original sleeve is still going strong after 4+ months of constant use (I carry my Mini in my backpack or tote bag every day), so I certainly have no complaints about the original design. It still looks almost new - I was afraid it would have started to look beat up by now!

I'll try to post pictures this weekend if I get a chance.
