2GB or not 2GB, that is my question. -

Hi gang.
I just acquired a Dell 1018 (used) and would like to know what RAM card I would need to update to 2GB. I know there are a lot of posts about the 2GB update, but I am confused as to what the REAL specs. are for the required 2GB RAM. If anyone has the actual part number and manufacturer of the RAM they installed and is currently working, please pass that info on to me. Thanks in advance. Doc |

Hi Doc Paul,
Be careful that your memory chip should be 1.35V and not 1.5V. Otherwise it will not work. Regards, Panos |

Got the 2GB from Crucial (there shipping method sucks) and will install it today. It is 1.35 Volt.
