It's out! $549 in the US, the UK version coming 2nd December.

As per with Dell, only available in Black :/

I SO want to order one immediately, but I think I'm going to be sorry if I don't wait to see what kinds of options they'll make available over the next few weeks. I was really looking forward to getting it before Christmas, but that probably won't happen now. :-(

For those who are interested, the expected ship date for the one I just built is 12/14.

No Merlin Blue, and I don't see the Broadcom Accelerator Card.

This is like other Dell rollouts - limited configurations at first. It is not clear to me if all models include the Broadcom card or not - the Dell site is very light on details.

Interesting that the Microsoft Store is selling the dock for half the price Dell is... It also gives a lot more detail about the Duo, such that it DOES have VGA out. [Edit: No it doesn't. The dock does.] MS is not charging for shipping as a holiday promotion. No word about the Broadcom Crystal card.

Compared to the Mini 9, the Duo is a pound heavier, two inches wider, about an inch deeper front to back and about the same thickness.

I would have ordered one today, but no 3G data available. I sure hope they add this as an option soon.
