Default Web Browsers: you guys should use SRWare Iron - 08-31-2009, 04:23 AM

Basically, what the title says. To sum: Iron's been much, much faster than Firefox for me. And it [supposedly, I'm not gonna root through the code, screw that] doesn't have the security pratfalls of Google Chrome! [It's also supposedly faster, though I haven't checked.]
Basically, I can run youtube videos fine with five or six apps running at once [iTunes, Windows Media Player, Open Office [2 windows], Dell Webcam thingy]. Firefox has been noticeable slower at pretty much everything.
It's here, apparently:
SRWare Iron - The Browser of the Future
I heard about it from somewhere and figured I'd share the good news. I'm still using Firefox on my desktop for whatever reason, but SRWare has become my de facto browser of choice for my Mini 10 ... the 1.33 Ghz processor sighs in relief at that, I'd guess.
Though it is burning my legs as I type this.

Received lowest quality mini 9 with 512 megs RAM, 4 GB SSD. Additions:
-4 GB SSD [2 GB SD Card: getting 16 GB SDHC]
Sold for $180 so I could buy Mini 10, XP/Ubuntu, 160GB HD, 1GB RAM, 1366x768 screen, 6-cell for $260.
[Extra screen space IS AMAZING, as is having a working keyboard]
