Default share *mini 9* Windows 7 "Windows Experience Index" ratings - 02-10-2010, 07:09 PM

Want to make sure I have the maximum Windows 7 "Windows Experience Index" ratings possible for my Dell Mini 9 so I am posting my numbers and asking others to post any differences they have with theirs as well.

Thanks.

Huge difference on the gaming graphics though. Do you know what video drivers you used?

I have not installed any drivers except the JMicron drivers for the card reader. I have one banged device that I need to figure out what it is. Everything seems to work, but I haven't done a thorough test yet. I am going to reinstall using vLite and try to shrink the W7 footprint. So, I haven't activated it and I am just experimenting.

Windows Update provided an optional "upgrade" to Intel Graphics Driver 8.15.10.1912 and my index is down (not to mention 60MB of disk space for a freaking driver and control panel). Gee, I can hardly wait for the next release.

Fresh install of windows 7 Pro, will all updates applied and office professional installed

All i've done is turn hibination off and system restore

Processor: 2.2
Memory: 4.5
Graphics: 2.4
Gaming Graphics: 3.0
Primary Hard Disk: 6.3

My mini is one of the Vodafone UK Dell Mini's with the 3G card, and i've upgraded the memoery module with a Crucial 2GB, and i've replaced the Hard drive (which failed ages ago!) with a runcore 32GB Pro IV

All drivers are the ones that windows 7 installs by default, all i had to do was install the drivers for the Card Reader and the 3G card
