Default just want to say hi - 03-11-2010, 07:05 PM

Hi im new here, i just created the account

I just bought Dell mini from the $149 deal, coz my friend wax gonna buy a new laptop, so i recommend dell since i have a good experience with it, My 1st dell dell is inspiron E1505 which is still running good for almost 4 years, only the battery is dead tho, but i think its common since its 4 years old.

I got lucky because i order it on the very last day of the promotion. Now i cant wait till my mini 10v arrive. Hopefully its not pink lol, since i cant customize the mini when we order it. Anyway im looking foward to upgrade the memory to 2gb and follow the video guide someone post here. I just read somewhere that we need to upgrade the BIOS too? should i upgrade 1st or install the new memory 1st? will it be ok if we dont upgrade the BIOS at all?

thank you

Welcome to the forum!

The BIOS upgrade is optional and the order does not matter.

Welcome! I think I had the E1505 or something similar. It was an AMD Turion X2 TL-50 with a horrid ATI Xpress 1150....what a piece of integrated crap.
