Default What Is Remote Disc In Finder? - 04-18-2010, 12:13 AM

I want to upload a 25mb file to vimeo from my g5 powermac. But for some stupid reason it keeps timing out the connection for the wireless in my apartment. I don't have a USB stick handy to transfer it over to my 10v but noticed this thing "remote disc" when I open my finder. Is this netbook able to read the contents of my g5? If so, how do I go about getting the file onto my netbook or grabbing it remotely and uploading it to vimeo?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, just maybe me misunderstanding the original issue, but, have you tried turning on Sharing?
