Last night , i saw Dell Mini 1012 with Core 2 Duo at the Malaysia computer shop . the price is RM1409 at malaysia . I has get the screenshot about the system properties .


i has question , is the netbook works with core 2 duo ? is InsMini available for Core 2 duo ?

the NEW Dell Duo has a Dual Core Atom Processor...as far as I have seen that is the 1st one

This image does not show the whole computer and my guess is that it is not actually a Dell 1012, even if it claims to be. Not only that, the version of XP shown in the earlier screenshot is suspicious. Dell's offering of XP had always been SP3 even back to the Mini 9, and I don't think the 1012 was ever offered with XP.

the designs same with 1012 . the bottom are same too but doesn't has the microsoft product key. it use 4500GMA video card

My refurb 1012 came with XP. So, it was presumeably available on new ones. But I agree about the suspiciousness

The 76xxx-648 Key means it is a volume key. So they must have wipe the original OS put the sp2 prof on it. Either MS OS'es is reporting wrong information or the CPU/MB is real but in a 1012 casing. KB Image seems 1012.

I'll not loss my sleep on this PC.
