Default Dang... The Outlet shipped quick.. - 10-14-2009, 01:30 PM

Just got my "new" refurbed 10v. I already notice a difference in the display (1024x600 vs my original 1024x576).

Now to wait for UPS to get here for the HD and RAM that's going into it. They should be here soon..

The debate now is if I want to do the triple boot video with this one, or with the old one.. Hmmmm...

Looking forward to this -- I'd like to triple boot as well, and the best method I've come up with -- so far -- is to buy a good SDHC card and drop my Linux install on it. Then when I need Linux, drop the card in and boot from the reader.

Thanks in advance -- if this one is NEAR as good as the RAM upgrade one, it will be really nice.

I dunno, I suck at creating videos..

That said, I've decided to go with using my old one. Will probably "begin production" first thing in the morning. My desk is a disaster, and I actually need a spot to work and film at the same time. Hopefully by early afternoon I should have them posted, assuming all hell doesn't break loose.

When did you order it?

I ordered mine last night and they shipped it this morning. I imagine they ship them from Cali somewhere, and I'm in AZ, so I'm HOPING to get it on Friday versus their expected delivery date of the 20th.

One is 1024x576, the new one is 1024x600. The old one is going to be used for some testing of a few things and such, then probably sold. I don't have the need for two, but the second will be handy for a little bit. I had a few ideas of a few things I wanted to do with it, but I don't have the time nor skills to do what I've been contemplating.
