Mini 1018 Palmrest in Mini 1012 -

Has anyone attempted to install a Mini 1018 palmrest and touchpad into a Mini 1012? From the outside they look the same except for the Touchpad.
I suppose it would depend on the internal connections to the motherboard. If they are the same I can see no reason why I wouldn't fit.
