Battery cannot be identified? -

I recently came across this message and now my mini won't hold a charge unless it's plugged in. Is there an easy fix?
Do I need to purchase a new battery? |

Sometimes removing and reinstalling the battery while connected to AC power will help.

I'm having the same problem. My Mini was sitting for a week or two while it was in hibernate / sleep mode. The battery completely drained. I wanted to charge it plugged in the charger and the power light flashes rapidly red / orange and white. I tried downgrading the BIOS to A04, didn't help. Tried upgrading the BIOS to A06. The netbook had Hackintosh on it. Going back to Windows. Need help trying to fix this issue. Still searching this great forum hoping I'll find something that will help fix the issue. Thanks.
