Default how do i extend my windows' partition. - 07-22-2009, 12:44 PM

i have a dual boot osx and windows 7 10v. I used disk utility to shrink my osx partition. Now there is 35 gb unallocated. Ive been trying to extend my windows 7 partition with the 35 gb but have failed miserably. Any suggestions? I tried Partition manager on windows 7, but it cannot detect the hard drive.

careful man... I screwed up my entire dual boot installation cause I extend my windows 7 partition and OSX didn't detect it. When OSX finally did detect it... something went wrong and I couldn't install windows 7 because windows found out if it was a GPT partition instead of a MBR...

In the end I had to do the installation from scratch... what a bitch.

I'm working on a guide for this...hold on. I was trying to put Win7 on my 10v partitioned for OSX and I got it to work in the end while keeping OSX active.
