Default how to replace wireless card - 01-20-2012, 11:58 AM

how easy is it to replace the wireless card on my dell inspiron 1110 is their any instructions on how to do it thanks

you should be able to follow the black and the white
arial wires to find it. they come from the screen straight
down the middle to under the mousepad.

Default wifi stinks on dell 1012 mini - 07-03-2013, 03:05 PM

I had the same problem with my 1012. I brought it to Staples to see if they could replace it with a faster wifi card but they gave me an easier solution. Since there are 3 usb ports on this laptop I simply used a usb wifi adapter. It comes with software which I didn't need because Windows did that automatically, and I immediately had high speed wifi. Easy solution without all the fuss of ripping the computer apart or paying someone big bucks to do.

lots of thing to do.
remove keyboard, if i remember correctly its under the hard drive tray which you will need to remove it also.
