For reference, I performed the following and everything seems to be working properly thus far:

1. Run Software Update for everything (10.5.8 + any other updates it finds)
2. Reboot. You will need your USB key with NetbookBootmaker and previous OSX image (ie the USB key which you used to install OSX. You may need to re-restore your OSX image to this and hit it with the latest NetbookBootmaker RC4 if you haven't already). Have this inserted when you reboot. Make sure your BIOS is set to boot from USB.
3. Hit the any key when Chameleon appears, and choose your SSD.
4. Once on your desktop, run the latest NetbookInstaller. Remove your USB.
5. When you reboot, everything should be a-ok. If not, reboot again

FYI, immediately prior to updating, I re-installed OSX using my 10.5.4 image and NetbookBootmaker RC4.
