That's a really old thread, I thought the newer NBI fixed this problem.

I had a mini 9 with a 16 gig STEC I set up and sold to a co-worker a week ago and it sleeps fine. It's running 10.6.7 as well.

I did the initial install with OS X 10.6.0 using NBM/NBI 0.8.4 RC 1 and then installed the 20100616212351 version and updated to 10.6.7 with no issues.

I did disable the Bluetooth in the BIOS as it doesn't work properly on these mini's even after the hack, and he didn't really have a need for it.

The 10v's usually come with a standard hard drive, so they can actually be made to Hibernate as well as Sleep, but sleep is as good as we can hope for on the mini 9.

Sleep has never been an issue on either my Runcore or my SuperTalent SSD's.
