    then I suggest either bring it back to where you got it or try contacting Pioneer or whoever the manufacturer is...maybe check their website to see if others are having the same issue..I am guessing you have all the correct drivers installed and everything right?

    think its a pioneer dvr 9 or something & when it does switch itself on it works perfectly lol i've only managed to get it to work when i leave it plugged in & switched on 4 a period of time then it comes to life... really wierd...

    Hiya, thanks for the help its got its own adapter that works, the burner is a DVR 9 i think... really strange it literally switches itself on when it wants 2, pretty annoying lol

    Hiya, I've got a problem thats bugging me, can't get my external burner to power on! Its like its got a mind of its own switches on when it wants to... adapters fine & i know the power is reaching it because it heats up at the back but no sign of life. I tend to leave it plugged in overnight & if am lucky will wake up when its on... really strange,please help

    ok, cool at least I know it aint my machine......thanks Matt, its just kind of annoying thats all, when you are used to it filling the screen, now theres about 3 inches on either side, I am not on the Mini now, I am on a 17inch HP wide screen thats probably why I noticed it...thanks again.....Rich

    Yup, clearing out a lot of redundant HTML for the new owners, to speed up the site/reduce bandwith etc. A few design tweaks are also on my list of things to do so it may get a bit wider by the end of the week..

    i too have the same issue, but dell says they wont replace the battery untill it start going off in less than an hour. how can i convince them to replace the battery
