Oh, but I've never gotten the MIC to work. May not have an internal MIC on my unit.

Yes it continues to work. You must Disable the USB Legacy support in the BIOS after you get everything loaded.

Just asking about the Voodoo kext file... after you installed yours, does your sounds work after your mini 10v goes to sleep or after a reboot? My sound will only work after the first reboot...
