I searched and couldn't find anything pertaining exactly to my situation:
Did a clean install of xp pro and installed all the current dell drivers. The bluetooth worked right after installing the driver.
Upon reboot it disables the radio, trying to enable it via the icon says I need to hit fn f2 or use the hardware switch, fn f2 doesn't do anything. The only way I can get it back on is to go to the bluetooth configuration then the diagnostics tab and disable then set preffered on it.
Any idea why this is happening or how to fix? I've removed, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted the bt
software with no change in how it works.
Also, the machine seems to stutter all the time, nothing will respond for about 5 seconds then it comes back to life. I had this happen very occasionally on Ubuntu 9.04 but not for as long or as often.
