Reporting another success here! I'm still going to keep the utility that lets me save my icon positions, but it's nice not to have to use it every time. Also, since I'm running short on SSD space, hibernation is no longer an option so I'll have to shut things down each time I quit until I get a larger SSD (come on, Crucial). |

This is a great fix and needs to be in the Guide Section! Everyone should use this. My Dell Mini is now an even greater joy to use. |

I guess that I will nervously give this another try. As an aside, my issue was the ssd which coincidentally went just after I installed this software. I must give cudos to Dell. They overnighted me a new ssd that I slipped in and things worked. What is interesting is that the image on the "new" ssd had the o/s and drivers, but it did not have a lot of junk on it (e.g., MacAfee, Support Center, Video Cam, etc.). Also, is it possible that I have 128megs of video ram? That is what it seems to say under my video properties??? It did take my several hours to reinstall programs, so I think I am going to use some imaging software to make a backup. |

Installation of the 1.4.0 AsTray driver caused me to lose my Standby function using either Fn +1 or closing the lid. I use XP and have cfadisk, DriveGleam and CapsLockLight also installed. |
