Default Variability in Speed while booting from usb flash drive - 03-25-2009, 10:40 PM

I was wondering how slow the performance is when you boot xp from a usb flash drive, compared to booting from the ssd or a normal hdd.

Also someone mentioned that the type of usb flash drive you use will affect the performance while booting from the usb flash drive. is this true?

any drawbacks from booting from usb thumb drive? whats the best size to use?
