...On the subject of OS install...I just bought a 32G Crucial for my Mini 9, but cannot get the OS installed. I'm using an external CD through the USB, but I cannot get the boot order in any configuration that will allow it to locate it. I only get "No Operating System Found" and a "Check Cable to Device". The CD device is good as I have used it elsewhere and the BIOS will not under any configuration find it. Any ideas....???

Dr Evil -
Did reply to the message sent he's not responded. I find it hard to believe that only 1 person has access to the parts for this sim connector and does not openly share it with the community.

Not sure what to tell you. He might have abandon the site/community for something else that interests him. I know he did say it took him quite a while to locate the correct part to install . No easy task my any means especially for someone with access to parts and supplies not normally accessible by us as normal consumers. I think he also said he had connections with parts suppliers, might have made the search easier for him.

Please continue to search for the correct part. It will not be easy to find since its a (7 pin?) push/push style SIM card slot. I suggest you get a copy of the picture I posted here and send it to the suppliers as a reference to what your looking for.

Good Luck !!
