#1. Now that I have a new reinstallation of XP on my Mini 9 I am seeing things I never saw on the original installation when I bought it in '08.

Atheros being one. I don't think I am using it. I am using Broadcom wireless Network Connection and I believe I'm letting Windows do it. Can I remove Atheros or should I save it for some later date?

#2. In Network Connections I have two connections, the Broadcom which is connected and a Local Area Connection Realtek PCIE Fast Ethernet NIC, disabled.

What are these two connections and how was it decided which one to use?

I'm also using a Westell 7500 gateway router (connected to a Dell 4600) with the 910 if that matters.

Broadcom is the wireless. Realtek is the wired. I dunno about the Atheros.
