I make it a habit to reinstall my XP computers about every two years or even less. Every time they are redone they come back just like they were brand new. Its a bit of a pain; but its worth it in terms of performance. While using register cleaners and those type programs you can lengthen the slow down cycle; but you won't get rid of it. Even using the restore feature does not match the process of reinstalling the operating system to what it was when the system was new. I just redid my 1010 after owning it for about a year and a half. It was like I just bought it. I will probably one day install Win 7 or get a newer system with Win7 (or higher) on it; one day; but not today!!!!!!! fdalbor Dell Mini 1010 XP--10.04/Mandriva One/Joli 1.2![]() Compaq R4000 laptop AMD 64 Compaq SR2034NX AMD 64 |
