I want to use my windows xp software that came with my mini 10v on my mini 9, but can't get it to boot up. I'm not using xp on the 10v, so I think it should be legal more or less. any thoughts/guides on how to do this? would using my 10v to put it on a usb drive help?

I assume you are adjusting the boot sequence, to boot off the cd/dvd drive.

Yes, but it doesn't work. I figured it has some code that makes it check the model? some mac recovery disks do that, but I don't know if there is a workaround, or what to edit.
