My son has managed to infect our Mini 9 with every virus, trojan, and rootkit known. I've spend a couple of days trying to clean it out but I've given up.

I wanted to do the factory restore. According to the Dell site, it says hold down Ctrl-F11. There isn't a F11.

How do you do it???

F11 is Fn+Z, along with F12 (Fn+X)

Holding Ctrl-Fn-Z didn't do a restore.

Other ideas in doing a factory restore??

I don't think the Mini 9 ever shipped with a factory restore, but I could be mistaken. I don't remember one on any of my units. Considering Dell was shipping Mini 9s with SSDs as small as 8GB, there really isn't room for a restore partition.

I don't know about Mini 9's with bigger SSDs, but the 8GB XP model has no recovery partition.
