Default XP Install Disk Same for 9 & 10 - 09-29-2009, 11:23 PM

Does anyone know if the XP install CD for a Mini 9 is exactly the same as the CD for the Mini 10?

I'm also interested to know this. I ordered a Mini 10v with XP to replace my Mini 9 that had OS X installed. I've decided to give my Mini 9 to my dad, but I can't get my copy of XP SP 2 to install. I have the intention of installing OS X on the 10v, and I would like to try the copy of XP that came with it on the Mini 9.

FWIW - I have an XP disk from my 10v, and am installing it now on my mini 9 to give to my dad. I had osx on the mini 9 and could NOT boot from the windows disk, so I reinstalled Ubuntu (which it came with) and just now tried the windows disk again, and it worked! I'm not sure why, but woohoo! or at least so far so good...
