Installing a leaked build is always a risk. But hashes are VERY difficult, or close to impossible, to hack.
Here's some good information on 7127, activation, improvements, etc.:
Windows 7 7127 x64 & x86 builds leaked - Windows 7 Forums
I've been on build 7127 for about a week now. Hashes of the download I used are correct and it activated fine. I've used around ten W7 builds so far and 7127, to me, is clearly the best so far. Albeit subjective, I have a system of running the Restart-Time script (from sevenforums.com) right after installing and after every other boot for about 20 reboots (before installing any software besides drivers and process explorer). On my M1330, 7127 is nearly 10 seconds faster rebooting. Everything works this time in 7127, even the Dell Quickset volume indicator, which hadn't worked in any W7 builds so far.
I am extremely pleased with 7127. I don't think I could ask for more.
