I'm going to try Home Premium on my Mini and desktop since that's the edition I'd actually buy and Starter on my Mini out of curiosity. As I understand it MS is extremely liberal with what they consider a program on their 3 open program limit. http://community.winsupersite.com/blogs ... arter.aspx You can't use a key for anything but Ultimate so treat this like a 30 (120 rearm?) day trial. |

So when the time comes I will probably buy Windows 7. So what am I going to lose if I buy Home over Ultimate? Is there a performance penalty or is it just features/applications? Quote:
