Hello all, just wanted to say thanks for all the informative posts and this community has definately made me enjoy my mini 9 so much more.

Well after trolling and trudging through the few topics on the dell wireless 1505 im just at a loss here. Ive ran Windows 7 build 7068, 7077 and the leaked 7100 and its all the same, if i pop in my 1505 b/g/n card my speed starts out at 270 mb then drops to 1 mb over a span of 2 minutes. My router is a Dlink DIR-655 and ive tried it with 1.2 firmware and even the beta 1.3 firmware and its still the same. My security is wpa2 with aes and my precision m6400 with an intel 5300 and the wifes xps m1210 with whatever card is in hers works fine and the speeds on those 2 are always 130 mb.

Ive tried a few drivers from the other threads on this topic but wasnt sure if maybe the card is defunct or a combo of win7 + the 1505 b/g/n. I havent tried any other OS since i got the card after i blew away the xp install with 7068 but was wondering if anyone out there knows of a driver to work or may be having the same issues. Well, after getting curious what my wifes xps m1210 had in it, turns out it was a 1505 as well popped it in my mini9 and it worked. Guess the one i purchased off of ebay turned out to be a bad card. =(

I am having the same problem. I bought mine off eBay as well. I have the exact same combo (dir-655/1505). Mine starts at 270 and after a few minutes drops to around 20. Guess I also got a bum card. My wifes laptop has a 5100 and gets a solid 150. Might have to switch cards.
