You should be able to buy an OEM version for between $100-125. I think they removed the requirement that you had to buy it with a piece of hardware (though if it's still there you can just order a mouse or something small to meet the requirement).

$100-125 is better, I paid that off amazon for XP pro for another comp I have. The problem I have with that though is that it took me 2 rma's to get a key that actually worked. brother-in-law had a similar prob. with different seller. Have been reluctant to buy oem again from 3rd party sellers. My other problem is that I now have 4 comps that will have to eventually be OS upgraded from XP, so even at $100 it puts a dent in my wallet. Sorry to get off topic, I have a tendency to do that.
