This is the correct answer, you need 768p (or 600p? forgot...) at least to get the unique 7 booting logo. Hard drive's type does not matter, a DirectX 9 capable video card is enough to handle it since I've had my old GMA 900 displaying the logo correctly (resolution is 1280x800). However, there is no way I can get my mini 10 to display it (resolution is 1024x576)...

mini 10 (1010, AU)|1GB RAM|160GB HDD|BlueTooth|DVB-T|GMA 500|1024x576

Inspiron 1300n|1GB RAM|60GB HDD|DVD+RW|GMA 900|1280x800

Both run with Windows XP Home SP3 + Windows 7 Ultimate RC dual-OS.
