Default how to fix dll errors - 05-09-2011, 12:22 AM

Hi there! I’m not very good with computers; my skills are limited. So, can you please tell me how I can fix dll errors without having to modify anything on my computer? Is there a software I can download and install? Thank you very much.

What kind of DLL errors? I am not aware of any way to "fix DLL errors" without modifying your Windows install somehow, even if it is just locating and installing a missing DLL.

What exactly is the problem you are seeing?

if you are receiving errors with 'd3dx9.....' in the description this can usually be fixed by upgrading to the latest version of directx

link:
Download details: DirectX End-User Runtimes (August 2009)

or if you are missing DLL files you can check for them here:

Download your missing dll-files - DLL-files.com

they are free...no signup

PS. Welcome to the forum....

BTW: the missing DLL files usually are installed into "C:\Windows\System32"...a reboot usually isnt required
