Default Bluetooth tethering on Windows 7 - 01-14-2009, 11:28 AM

So windows 7 sees that I have bluetooth but I can't doing anything with it. I downloaded the driver and software from the Mini12 (assuming that the vista driver would work better). I tried connecting like I normally would (initiate the connection on internet sharing - windows mobile phone on sprint) then on the mini 9 tell it to join The Personal Area network. Just doesn't do anything.

I then tried to initiate the connection on the mini9 using dialup. But my phone gives me an error when I try that.

Any suggestions?

Fixed it. You need to install the Windows Mobile Device Center software from microsoft, that will give you the drivers you need to connect to the Windows mobile phone via bluetooth. From there you can tether like you would have normally.
